Looking for a vegan pickle recipe with a little zing to it? Our fried pickles pack a (small) punch.
- 8 dill pickles (I like Vlasic, but any brand will work)
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup beer
- 1 1/4 tablespoon paprika
- 1 1/4 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 1/4 tablespoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 3 dashes tabasco sauce
- Oil for deep frying
Cut the dill pickles very thinly. Mix together your ingredients to make a batter, then dip the pickles in the batter. Fry the pickles in hot oil until the pickles begin floating to the top (this should take around four minutes).
